William Clarence Newton

William Clarence Newton Jr passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was born on June 16, 1946, to his loving parents William and Susie Mathis Newton in Marietta, GA. He worked as a Correction officer for many years working with the Department of Corrections and Lockheed. William enjoyed history and being outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, hike and look for Arrowheads and civil war relics. He was also heavily involved in the Boy Scouts for over 25 years. He will be greatly missed by all who had a chance to know him.

In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Newton.

He is survived by his son, Clint Newton; sister, Gloria Edwards; brother, Terry Newton; nephew Larry Edwards Jr, great-nieces, Amber Edwards, Alyssa Edwards, and Kelsey Proctor.
