William Paul "Joe" Lollis

William Paul “Joe” Lollis, age 72, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 19, 1948 in Honea Path S.C., to his late parents; Horace and Myrtice Lollis. William worked for General Motors for over 25 years on the assembly line and attended Crossroads Pentecostal Church. Mr. Lollis was a wonderful man who loved The Lord. In his free time, he greatly enjoyed working on Automobiles and singing. William was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lollis, son, Jamie Lollis and his twin brothers; Jerry Wayne Lollis and Joe Earl Lollis.

Mr. Lollis is survived by his loving sons; Gerald “Duke” Lollis and his wife, Cynthia of Dallas, GA, Shane Lollis and his wife, Jessica of Dallas, GA, brother, James Lollis and his wife, Fefe of Dallas, GA, sister, Martha Rowell and her husband, Bill Rowell of Dallas, GA, grandchildren; Brandy, Jessica, Courtney, Justin, Courtney, Casey, Kristen, Shane Paul, Cassidi, Harley, Adriana, Augustus, Jeremy, great-grandchildren; Conner, Adyn, Jackson, Izeaha, Mickenly, Junior, Makhi, and Mason.

Funeral Services for Mr. Lollis will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Todd Chatham and Evangelist David Wiley officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Joe Broome, Harley Godfrey, Jeremy Brown, Shane Lollis, Duke Lollis, Josh Lollis, James Lollis, Darrell Millsap and Michael Millsap. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for a visitation on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Lollis safe.
