Ella “Viola” Maxwell Slade, age 83, of Dallas, GA passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Tranquility of Kennesaw of Mountain. She was born on June 10, 1938 to her late parents, James Harley Maxwell and Emma Maxwell. Mrs. Slade worked at Sears Company for more than 20 years until the Atlanta location closed, she then worked for the Paulding County School District for 16 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob” Eugene Slade and 7 Maxwell siblings.
Mrs. Slade is survived by her daughters, Tahni Hagerty of Hiram, GA, Jamie (Mike) Bradshaw of Woodstock, GA, and Rhonda (Jeff) Burlile of Reesville, OH; son Wes Slade of Hiram, GA; grandsons, Micah Hagerty of Hiram, GA, Corey Hagerty of Dallas, GA, Cody (Bridget) Burlile of Wilmington, OH; granddaughters, Kacie (Jim) Hallock of Temple, GA and Cara Burlile of Reesville, OH; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Hagerty and Braden Hagerty of Hiram, GA, Krimson and Kyndall Hallock of Temple, GA, Ella Bradshaw of Woodstock, GA, Bryston, Camden, and Ashtyn Burlile of Wilmington, OH; brothers, Joe (Mary Ellen) Maxwell and Johnny Maxwell of Dallas, GA.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Interment will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns.
