Vernon Hall

November 4, 1937 ~ January 14, 2020 (age 82)


Vernon Hall, age 82, of Acworth, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing and Rehab, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on November 4, 1937 to his late parents; George and Margie Hall. Vernon was retired from Lockheed – Martin, where he worked as a Tank Serviceman for 31 years and was also a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Hall was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. Vernon was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers; Bobby Hall, Willie Hall, and sisters; Clarice Osborne and Lynna Scalf.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Wilma Hall of Acworth, GA, daughter, Vickie (Greg) Weaver of Dallas, GA, brothers; Milburn (Judy) Hall of Gate City, VA, Darius (Betty) Hall of Hilton, VA, sister, Delma Castell of Gate City, VA, grandchildren; Amanda Porter, Elijah Weaver, many nieces and nephews, extended church families and his special friend, Mr. Richard Hunter. 

Funeral Services for Mr. Vernon Hall will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at The Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 17, 2020 for a visitation from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
