Tommy Boyd Sipsy Sr. age 79, of Dallas passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Tranquility at Cobb. He was born on June 13, 1941 in Lafayette, Georgia to the late Robert and Annie Sipsy. Mr. Sipsy was retired from Wiring Pros, where he worked as an electrician for over 40 years. Tommy was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Sipsy Sr. is survived by his loving children; Tommy Sipsy Jr. and his wife, Alicia of Marietta, GA, Robin Thomason and her husband, Kenneth of Dallas, GA, brothers; Danny Sipsy and his wife, Lillie of Athens, GA, Robert Sipsy and his wife, Petra of Loganville, GA, sister, Betty Sue Alberton of Dalton, GA, grandchildren; Taylor Sipsy, Chase Sipsy (Morgan), Randal Inskeep (Amy), Breanna Thomason (Caleb Collins), T.J. Thomason (Sarah Woody), Nicholas Thomason (Carrie), Blake Caldwell (Lindsey), Devin Caldwell, great grandchildren; Sawyer Sipsy, Kolby Inskeep, Logan Inskeep, Blakely Collins, Ryder Hargis, Hensley Collins, Kinsleigh Thomason, Ashlynn Thomason, Nolan Perkins, Presley Thomason, Gunner Caldwell, Kendall Caldwell, Lexie Caldwell and Emory Caldwell.

Graveside Services for Mr. Sipsy Sr. will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Brother Andy Cunningham and Walt Fincher officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Devin Caldwell, Scotty Inskeep, Taylor Sipsy, Chase Sipsy, Caleb Collins and TJ Thomason. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the state’s Covid-19 restrictions. (No more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time) If attending the visitation, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Sipsy Sr. safe.
