Tate Morris, age 48, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. He was born on October 23, 1971 in Sumpter, S.C. to his late parents; Jimmi Morris and Linda Smith. Mr. Morris worked as a commercial electrician for LMI Electrician Contractors. Tate was a huge football fan! In his free time, he greatly enjoyed anything and everything to do with Georgia Bulldog Football. Go Dawgs!  Tate was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Beverly Morris and his step brother, Danny Nix.

Survivors include his loving wife, Rhonda Morris of Dallas, GA, sons; Austin Banks and his wife, Morgan of Aragon, GA, Matthew Morris of Mt. Washington, KY, step daughter, Amanda Vincent and her husband, Steve of Chesapeake, VA, sister, Tonia Duerk and her husband, Erick of Mt. Washington, KY, step sisters; Karen Godby of Madison, GA, Christy German of Madison, GA, step brother, Michael Nix of Madison, GA, granddaughter, Ellie Banks, as well as twins on the way, nephews; Kody Duerk and Bryce Duerk and nieces; Brittany Boswell and Tiffany Boswell.

A Private Graveside Service for Mr. Tate Morris will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Holly Hill Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.
