Shawn "Jesse" Bailey

Shawn "Jesse" Bailey passed away on January 28, 2023. He was born on October 4, 1966 to Roger and Anne Bailey Sturdivant. Jesse worked for Lost Mountain Electric for over 30 years. He also worked in park services for Kennesaw Mountain and Pickett's Mill. Jessie did civil war reenactments for both parks and was a historian. He was also an excellent horseman and made all sorts of handmade leather goods. Jesse loved music and was a great musician. He played guitar, bass, and mandolin and performed with a group. He had many friends who he loved, and he was a fun person to be with. He didn't meet a stranger, and he'd talk to anyone. Jesse was full of life, and he will be very missed.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Lisa Bailey; his step-children, Roger (Jessica) Lamb, Breanna (Easton) Mize, and Justin McManus; his parents, Jesse Roger Bailey and Ann Sturdivant Bailey; brothers, Chris (Donna) Bailey; Scott (Missy) Bailey; nieces and nephews, Savannah Bailey, Chris (Jenni) Bailey, Andrew (Veronika) Bailey, and Kaitlyn (Aaron) Wilson.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral service for Mr. Bailey will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 3, 2023 beginning at 12:00pm with Reverend Don Johnson and Scott Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.
