Sarah Emily Smith, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Dallas, GA. on July 1, 2021. She was born on April 13, 1934 to her late parents, Hollis and Marie Tibbitts. Mrs. Smith was a member of Narroway Baptist Church where she was devoted to God, her community, and family. Emily worked at Citizens Bank as a bookkeeper for 25 years. She was known by her family as a sweetheart and being spunky. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Terrell Smith Jr; siblings, Joe Tibbitts, Annette Rakestraw, Fed Tibbitts, Clo-Esther Leeds, Billy Tibbitts, and Lee Tibbitts.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters, Patti (Joel Young) Butler and Pam (Rick) Pope; sons, Keith (Cindy) Smith and Kendall (Lynn) Smith; grandchildren, Brandon (Misty) Baxter, Megan (Jared) Sanders, Morgan Smith, Toby (Delicia) Miller, Jody (Megan) Miller, Levi (Katie) Smith, Makenzie (Lawson Hill) Smith and Jennifer (Jamie) Smith; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be held at Narroway Baptist Church in Dallas, GA on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Todd Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow and Rev. Hershel Tibbitts officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
