Sandra Jean (Millwood) Wood

Sandra Jean Wood, 77, of Hiram, GA passed away on September 15, 2021. She was born on May 18, 1944, in Walton County, GA to the late Jake and Eva Lee Morgan Millwood.

She was a member of Zion View Baptist Church. She loved her job as a secretary for FEMA for more than 30 years. She was an avid gardener and canner and was always baking. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Wood; son, Stephen (Marlene) Wood of Acworth; daughter, Sharon (Kevin) Jones of Hiram; brother, Raymond Millwood of Columbus, NC; eleven grandchildren, Kyle Wood, Kristin Wood, Colleen Wood, Amanda Lopez, Jay Sweeney, Collin Siesel, Darren Siesel, Katelyn Rusk, Nathan Reece, Logan Jones, and Carson Jones; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Siesel, Lily Burney, Aldrin Wood.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 20 at 3:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Art Brady officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on prior to the funeral on Monday from 1:00 3:00 p.m.

The service will be streamed live on the Clark Funeral Home Facebook page at the time of the service. Please be aware there is a few minutes technical delay before it posts, but it will remain on the Facebook page for an indefinite period of time.
