Samuel "Tom" Thomas Bliss

Samuel “Tom” Thomas Bliss, age 87, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 29, 1933 in Chandlersville, OH, to his late parents; Samuel L. Bliss and Eva Faye Bliss. Mr. Bliss worked as a cattle farmer for over 70 years. He also worked for Racine Hydraulics Inc. Tom was a former member of Chandlersville United Methodist Church and was a present faithful member of Dallas First United Methodist Church for many years. Mr. Bliss was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Bliss.

Mr. Bliss is survived by his loving wife, Emma Juanita Bliss of Hiram, GA, son, Darin Bliss of Hiram, GA, daughters; Moni Nalls and her husband, Roger of Villa Rica, GA, Thomanitah Bliss of Hiram, GA, brother, Robert Bliss and his wife, Joy of Chandlersville, GA, sisters; Kathryn Jack of Columbus, OH, Martha Jean Adkins and her husband, Roger of Chandlersville, OH, grandchildren; Nathan Potts of Dallas, GA, Nicholas Potts of Dallas, GA, Brandon Potts of Dallas, GA, Luke Nalls of Villa Rica, GA, Olivia Nalls of Villa Rica, GA, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service for Mr. Bliss will be held at Duncan Falls Cemetery in Ohio at a later date.
