Obituary

Robert Louis Baker, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Mr. Baker was born on June 14, 1940 in Chicago, IL. Robert served his country in the United States Marine Corp (USMC). He was a proud Devil Dog. He later pursued a career as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Tittle Baker; parents Robert E. Winetroub and Margaret Pattyn Baker; brother, Rick Baker; son, David Baker; daughters, Debbie Baker Cornell and Karen Baker Bowes; and grandson Benjamin Hodge.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Julie Baker Murphy, Sheila (Rory) Hodge, Lisa (Paul) Merris, and Nicole (Mikael) Quilfen; sons, Steve Baker and Toby Aebersold; brother, Leonard Baker; grandchildren, Tessa, Emily, Chris, James, Stevie, Erik, Hunter, Sarah, Rebecca, Justin, Justin, Trevor, Joseph, Rory, Ryan, Colette, Tatum, Zoe, and Jade; 23 great-grandchildren.

He will be missed by his family and friends. A virtual memorial to be held in the near future.
