Randall Sheffield

Randall Sheffield, age 79, of Cedartown, GA, passed away at Redmond Medical Center in Rome, GA, due to heart failure on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. He was born on February 18, 1940 in Screven, GA, to the late Andrew and Bertie Sheffield. Randall was self-employed as a carpenter and owned Sheffield Upholstery and Interiors and was Church of God by faith. In Randall’s free time he greatly enjoyed farming, horses, going to the lake, taking his dogs for golf cart rides, socializing with his neighbors, and anything and everything to do with the Atlanta Braves. Mr. Sheffield had a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs; Molly and Cammie. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Ann Sheffield and his precious fur baby, Molly.

Survivors include his son, Andy and Linda Sheffield of Dallas, GA, daughter, Sandy and Dennis Gardner of Douglasville, GA, sister, Mildred and Quillan Kirkland of Jesup, GA, brothers; Robert and Shirley Sheffield of Screven, GA, Ralph and Sharan Sheffield of Screven, GA, and Harvey and Donna Sheffield of Liberty, S.C., grandchildren; Matthew and Rebecca Gallup, Michael and Rachel Gallup, great grandchildren; Bradley, Peyton, Brayden, Tanner, Mae, and Josh Gallup and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Randall Sheffield will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Moxley at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Mr. Sheffield’s memory.
