Peggy Ann (Sanders) McElroy

Peggy Sanders McElroy, 80 of Dallas passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2023.
She was born in Powder Springs, Ga in November of 1942 to the late Lewis Grady And Pauline Brady Sanders.

Peggy was the next to youngest of 6 siblings, five sisters and one brother. She was a graduate of West Fulton High School - Class of 1961. Go Owls!

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Helen Thrasher, Sara Thomson, Dot Crowder, and Gail Devine. Peggy is survived by two siblings, Johnny Lewis Sanders and Nancy Loudermilk; two daughters, Terri Bonner of Buchanan , Lisa and husband Bobby Shaw of Dallas; two grandchildren Alicia and husband Jeff Ellis of Lithia Springs , Tim Bonner Of Buchanan along with seven great grandchildren Breonna, Braedyn, Zane, Aubrie, Brynna, EmaLynn and Jacob as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, GA.
