Paul Terry Lane

Paul Terry Lane, age 81, of Dallas, GA. passed away on June 3, 2021 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He was born on November 6, 1939 to his late parents, James Lane and Betty Roberts. Paul was known as a great daddy and friend that was willing to help anyone that needed it. His hobbies were woodworking, camping, traveling to all the states in the U.S. except 2 along with many countries, coaching little league, and motorcycle riding. Mr. Lane was a proud Air Force military Veteran where he received multiple medals. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jerrell Lane whom he married on June 25, 1960 and was married for 52 years, siblings, Marvin Lane, Richard Lane, Sharon Lane, James Lane, Karen Lane, and Becky Perkins.

He is survived by his daughters, Terri Humphries, Pennie (Raymond) Stephens, and Sandra (Lynn) Roper; sons, Greg Lane and Jeff (Stephanie) Lane; sisters, Ann Smith and Patricia Kirchmeier; brothers, Tim Lane, Bobby Lane, Johnny Lane, Ronny Lane, Charles Lane, and Carl Roberts; grandchildren, Robert Ray, David Ray, Christopher Lane, Daniel Lane, J.D. Humphries, Ashley Bobrovicz, Tyler Stephens, Brooke Lane, John Blankenship, James Blankenship, Natalie Roper Jones, and Scott Christopher; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Lane will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Rev. James Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Greg Lane, Jeff Lane, Dustin Wellborn, James Lipscomb, David Ray, J.D. Humphries, Christopher Lane and Daniel Lane as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.

The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns.
