Norma (Dinker) Flynn

November 9, 1937 — February 23, 2021

Norma Dean (Dinker) Clark Flynn passed away on February 23, 2021. She was born on November 9, 1937 to her late parents, Thomas “Woodrow” and Annie Lou Clark. She was known as a friend to everyone and seemed to never meet a stranger.  Dinker was an LPN who worked at Paulding Memorial Hospital and the practice of Drs. Worthy and Covington for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband; Lewis Flynn, son; Mickey Flynn, and sister in-law; Sandra Clark.

She enjoyed travels all over the world, and particularly those trips taken with her family. Time spent with them was her greatest joy. She was a longstanding member of First Baptist Church and was involved in many ministries there over the years. Dinker is survived by her daughter; Tammy (Tom) McRae of Decatur, GA., brother; Tommy Clark of Newnan, GA., grandchild; Amanda McRae of Tucker, GA., nephew; Mike (Donna) Clark, along with several cousins.

Funeral Services for Dinker will be Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 2 at 11:00 AM.

Her family wishes to thank her caregivers; Jackie, Sharion, Jasmine, Bridgette, and Dorothy.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Flynn safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
