Mildred Elizabeth (Hansard) Smith

Mildred E. Smith passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born on March 24, 1947, daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Hansard in Lithia Springs,GA.

Mildred was a strong-willed woman who had no filter and would always speak her mind. She was an avid "Days of our Lives," NASCAR, and country music fan. Mildred was an awesome cook and loved feeding everyone.

In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Enright Smith, and a brother, Hoyt Hansard. She is survived by her son, Robert H. Sechler (Brenda); two daughters, Lisa Herndon (Marc) and Joy Nelson; five grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley D., Ashley, Elijah, and Luke; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 03, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Family Graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2023 at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mildred's honor to a cancer or animal rescue foundation of one's choice.
