Margaret Hurd

Margaret Hurd, age 98, passed away on Friday, March 26 at Wellstar Rehabilitation Center in Dallas, GA. She was born on January 2, 1923 to her late parents, Patrick and Nora O’Connor in Galway, Ireland. Mrs. Hurd was an administrative assistant at The Catholic University of Washington, DC for 15 years. She was also a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Douglasville, GA.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Hurd Jr, one sister and one brother.

Mrs. Hurd is survived by her sons, Patrick (Cathy) Hurd of Dallas, GA. and Michael (Robert Yesbek) Hurd of Delaware; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service at a later date along with a private burial in July.
