Laverne Hulsey Rainer

Laverne Hulsey Rainer, age 91, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019. She was born on August 27, 1928 in Atlanta, GA, to the late Carl and Alma Hulsey. She was a homemaker and loving mother, who raised five children, and a lifelong member of Second Ponce De Leon Baptist Church. She was also a grandmother and great grandmother, who touched numerous lives and will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, John R. Rainer.

Survivors include her sons, John (Kathy) Rainer of Woodstock, GA and Andy (Diane) Rainer of Marietta, GA; her daughters, Debbie Rainer of Atlanta, GA, Cheryl (Scott) Nelson of St. Simons Island, GA, and Julie (Tim) Yost of Dallas, GA; thirteen  grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren with one more on the way, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Graveside Service for Laverne will be held at Georgia National Cemetery on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 9:30AM.

In Lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made to Amedisys Hospice Care.
