LaDonna Mae Bailey

LaDonna Bailey, age 83, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2021. LaDonna was born April 28, 1938 to Bessie Louise Deyhle. Mrs. Bailey was a long-time resident of Paulding County and was a beloved member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. She married the love of her life, Conrad Lee Bailey, in 1955, and worked as a Southern Bell long distance phone operator for more than 25 years. During her last few years, she was blessed to travel numerous places with her family including her first cruise and a trip to Oklahoma where the Pioneer Woman lives and films. Her passion for cooking, recipe books, and reading was generously shared with all her family, church, and friends.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Conrad Bailey; daughter, Connie Lynn Bailey Walsh; and mother, Bessie Louise Parker. She is survived by her son, Charles (Nancy) Bailey; daughter, Cathy Ellison; grandchildren, Kelly (Toby) Herington, Lynn Hall, Jennifer (Compton) Wharton, Connie (Shane) Isbell, numerous great grandchildren, beloved family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, GA 30141, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey will follow at Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, 3685 Nebo Road, Dallas, GA 30157 at 3:00pm, Saturday, November 6, 2021, with Pastor Glenn Petero officiating.
