Jeanette Mazeres

Jeanette (“Jean”) Ann Mazeres, 84, of Dallas, Georgia died peacefully in her sleep on January 29, 2021.

Jean was born on December 27, 1936 in Rayne, Louisiana to Anatole and Etta Hulin Gary.  She grew up in Louisiana before moving to Cookeville, Tennessee where she spent thirty-six years enjoying successful careers in retail sales and banking.  In 2014, Jean and her late husband Reggie moved to Creekside Pines Retirement Community where they spent time participating in activities and making new friends.  In her free time, Jean enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Mazeres is survived by her sons Mike (Angie) and Joe Mazeres, granddaughters Anais (Will) Hodge and Adelai Wolfe-Mazeres, brother Wilton Gary, sisters Marie Benoit and Bertha LaCombe and son-in-law Glen Hullander.  In addition to her loving husband Reggie and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Susie Hullander, brothers Amic, Gordy and Gillis Gary, sisters Delta Taylor and Geraldine Hicks and Aunt Eliza Lofton.

Jean touched everyone she met and will be missed by all!

A memorial service for Mrs. Mazeres will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 12:30 PM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mrs. Mazeres' name.
