Janice Marie (Parris) Atcheson

Janice Marie Atcheson passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. She was born on March 19, 1943, daughter of the late Leon and Evelyn Delong Parris in Atlanta, GA. Janice enjoyed spending time with her family and loved them all very much. She was very selfless and always put others needs above her own. She loved spending time with her poodle, Dixie. Janice was loved by many and will be greatly missed. We are blessed to know that she is with Jesus, whom she loved with all her heart.

Janice is survived by her husband, Gary Atcheson; one son, Norman Atcheson (Maggie); two daughters, Misty Croghan (Lenny), Marie Morris (Doug); one brother, Johnny Parris; six grandchildren, Matthew Ruff (Tori), Justin Leggett (Brittany), Nicole Ruff, Erica Baggett (Nate), Noah Welsh (Taylor), Austin Atcheson; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Memorial Service for Janice will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday November 19, 2022 AT 3:00 PM with Pastor Tony Samples officiating.
