James Jenkins

James Jenkins, age 77, of Lithia Springs, GA. passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021. James was born on July 15, 1943 to his late parents, Oliver and Gertrude Jenkins. In his spare time, he loved to fish and play jokes on his loved ones. He especially enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the Falcons, Braves, and Alabama football. James was a scheduling coordinator at Anaconda Aluminum for more than 30 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Francis Blair and Brenda Turner.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his loving wife, Carol Jenkins, daughters, Penny (Jeff) Smith, Tina (Ken) Smith, Jamie (Michael) Page; brother, Jerry Jenkins; sister, Joyce Clark; 7 grandchildren, Jared (Morgan) Smith, Jake Smith, Katie (Chance) Pike, Taylor Smith, McKenzie (Jacob) Totten, Macie Page, and Jackson Page, 5 great- grandchildren, Hadlee Cuthbertson, Kadence Pike, Charlie Ray Pike, Eli Smith, Oliver Smith and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Mr. Jenkins will be at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 4:00 PM until the time of service.

If attending the visitation, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Jenkins safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
