March 12, 1924 — February 17, 2021

Geneva Scoggins, age 96, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Tanner Hospital in Carrollton, GA. Mrs. Scoggins was born on March 12, 1924 to her late parents; Barney and Effie Parson. Geneva was an involved member of Gateway Church. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting and cooking. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph W. Scoggins, daughter; Janice Harris, son in-law; Tommy Harris, sisters; Grace Shirley, Pauline Pressley, Opal Osborne, and Ruth Davis.

Mrs. Scoggins is survived by her grandchild; Lynn (Nick) Nichelson, great-grandchild; Ashley (Kyle) Brock, and great great-grandchild; Easton Brock. Both Geneva and Joe were the pillars of their family, church, and community.  Geneva would tell everyone she met about Jesus and she shined His Light everywhere she went.  She loved everyone with a heart of gold and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  It is certain that when her spirit left her earthly body, she heard The Master say:  Well done, good and faithful servant.
