Frances Gorda Hay Renfroe, age 84, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Tranquility at Cobb. She was born on November 28, 1935 in Dallas, GA, to her late parents; Glenn and Virginia Hay. Mrs. Renfroe worked in the office of Sears and Roebuck for 30 years and was a member of Westside Christian Church in Hiram, GA. Frances was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Renfroe, brother, Hal Hay.

Mrs. Renfroe is survived by her daughter, Patty Vaughn and her husband, Ben of Dallas, GA, brother, Harry Hay of Winston, GA, sister, Gertie Turner of Dallas, GA, grandchildren; Jarrett Turner, Natalie (Chris) Thomason, great grandchildren; Britt Thomason, Ryan Helinger (Peyton Waddell), Austin Helinger (Jessica), great-great grandchildren; Annalise Helinger, Asher Helinger, Caroline Helinger and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Renfroe will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Morehouse officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the following people serving as pallbearers; Jimmy Renfroe Jr., Britt Thomason, Austin Helinger, Travis Hay, Kevin Hornbuckle and Stacey Lee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Renfroe safe.
