Eloise Veitch

February 21, 1941 — February 3, 2021

Eloise Veitch, age 79 of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. She was born on February 21, 1941 to her late parents, Andrew and Grace McGowan. Eloise enjoyed working outside cutting grass and working in her flower gardens. Mrs. Veitch worked for the State of Georgia in the Human Resources Department for more than 40 years and was Catholic by faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Douglas Veitch, daughter; Michelle Campistrano Veitch, brothers; Andy McGowan and Michael McGowan.

Mrs. Veitch is survived by her daughter; Yvonne Leigh Veitch Kelsoe, sisters; Annette Sanders, Patsy Lavigne, Maureen Maxwell, brother; John McGowan, grandchildren; Chrystal Kelsoe, Brittney Kelsoe, Marielena Campistrano, Xaviar Veitch, great-grandchildren; Tyler Post, Chance Post, Kobbi Davis, J.C. Post, Jaida Davis, Kamdyn Kelsoe.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Veitch will be on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA. with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Veitch safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
