Elisa Rená (Stephens) Hardy

Elisa "Rená" Hardy passed away surrounded by her family on May 17, 2022. She was born on January 27, 1962 to the late Edgar and Sarah Stephens. Rená was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was exceptionally strong in her faith. She adored her family especially her children, Bret and Sarah and her husband, Alan. Her family was very important to her and many knew her as "Nay-Nay". Rená had a huge heart, she loved helping others, and was a mentor to many. She was the best wife, Momma, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed. Rená is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Sarah Stephens; her brother, Timothy Barnell Stephens; her grandmother, Ida Lee Sudduth and life long best friend Cindy Sheppard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Alan Hardy; her children, Bret Alan Hardy and Sarah Elisa (Dillon Jarrett) Hardy; brother, Edgar Warren (Lisa) Stephens; sisters, Carol Ann Stephens, Shelia Lee (Jimmy) Thomas, Beverly Jean Gates, Janice Stephens (Shea Cousin); special friends; Tami Schonleber, Lee Ann Alexander, Caitlyn Spanoudakis & Courtney Plummer. She was blessed with 17 nieces and nephews and loved each dearly.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Funeral Services for Mrs. Hardy will begin at 2:00pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
