Charles William “Charlie” Brooks, Jr., age 72, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 6, 1948 to his late parents, C.W. Brooks, Sr. and Grace Mitchell Brooks.

After retirement, you would often find him next to Weiss Lake or the beach. When he was not planning his next prank, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, shopping, woodworking, and traveling. Charlie was quick-witted and always had a playful word. He enjoyed life, his family, his animals, and his friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby and Joe Mitchell, Bertha and Will Brooks.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife Audrey Brooks, Children; Leigh Anne (Patrick) Lindsey, Jessie (Rhonda) Davis, Randy (Vicki) Williams, Billy (Angie) Williams, Jimmy (Jennifer) Davis, Penny (Al) Fowler, sister; Kathy Brooks Mawk, brother; Joey (Kellie) Brooks, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home.
