Carol (DuChateau) Watters

Carol Lynn Watters passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 16, 2021. She was born on September 21, 1944, to the late Stephen and Evelyn DuChateau in Bellmore,NY. She retired after more than 20 years from the Broward County School System in Florida, where she served in many different roles. In her spare time, Carol enjoyed reading, especially thrillers and murder mysteries. She would never admit it but she was a people person, she loved to talk to anyone and everyone. She was smart, quick witted and had a great sense of humor. She was a loving Nana, mother and friend who will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 38 years, William Watters; and her brother, Stephen DuChateau.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Watters; son, Stephen Watters; grandchildren, Grace Watters, Hannah Watters, and Monika Watters and a host of other nieces, nephews and relatives.
