Carl Anderson Hall

January 17, 1938 — July 22, 2020

Carl Anderson Hall, known by family and childhood friends as “Corky” went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. God blessed him with 82 years of life. His service for the LORD began in March of 1997 as a Deacon at Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church. He also served as an Ordained Elder at Refuge of Love, God’s Harvest Ministries and Glory Rising Church.

Brother Carl served the LORD faithfully and was found guilty of loving God, his family and his friends. He was a man of wisdom, who spoke gentle words that carried a great impact. Brother Carl was most known for his prayers that moved the listeners hearts as they heard the humility in his voice as he humbled himself before God.

Carl is survived by his three children and their spouses; Vicki Hall and Joseph Dubs, Tammie Hall and Marty VanMeter, Carl Allen and Kimberly Hall, brother, Curtis and Marie Hall, sister, Lucille Cook, grandchildren;  Kim Chup, Kristy Johnson, Kalisa Phifer, Kortni Pike, Jason Walker, Zachary Hall, Allana Hall, Kara Hicks, Kristi Allen, Kacey McClarty, Patrick Dubs, Caitie Chupp, Jeffrey Hannah, Desire Wills, great grandchildren; Michael Chupp, Sara Green, Aaron Chupp, Brandon Johnson, Alice Pike, Wesley Pike, Madelyn Walker, Alex Walker, Sam Walker, Emma Iverson, Joseph Iverson, 1 one the way, Corky, and great-great grandchild, Benjamin Chupp.

His wife of 63 years, Ludie Marie Mayfield Hall preceded him in death on February 21, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Ruby Hall, as well as his brother, Joe Hall and his sister, Juanita Baker. All lived in Dallas, Georgia.

“Corky” was a hard worker, dedicated to his family and being a provider. He knew his way around and old engine and was known to be quite the horse trader back in the day. He enjoyed farm life and working in the garden., but most of all he enjoyed eating the fruits of his labor come supper time.

Brother Carl, “Corky” Daddy, whatever you knew him as is now in Heaven, walking the Streets of Gold with both of his legs and is celebrating with the Saints. Although we will miss him down here, if you know Jesus like he did, then you definitely see him up there!
