Bobby Eugene Butler

Reverend Bobby Eugene Butler, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Mr. Butler was born on April 26, 1934 in Villa Rica, GA, to his parents, James Soloman Butler and Vera Lucille Butler. Bobby worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation for 35 years and was a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed coaching football and baseball for 15 years and singing with the Zion Singers. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Patricia Ann Butler, and brothers, Billy Butler and Charles "Bud" Butler.

Survivors include his sons; Richard "Ricky" (Rochelle) Butler of San Antonio, TX, Robbie (Kelley) Butler of Hiram, GA, Randy Steven (Michelle) Butler of Temple, GA, brother; Douglas Butler, sister; Dixie Ann Graham grandchildren; Bradley Butler, Rachel (Josh) Foster, Cassie (Tyler) Slater, Mitchell (Casey) Butler, Bryce Butler, Brandon Butler, Emily Papagorgiou, Tristan (Claire) Colyar, Adam Abernathy, Kaila Abernathy, Jarod Abernathy, and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Butler will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harold Turner and Bobby Walraven officiating. Interment will follow the service at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
