Betty Jane (Abercrombie) Rich

Betty Rich passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. She was born on November 25, 1927, daughter of the late Claude and Vennie Barton Abercrombie in Atlanta,GA. Betty enjoyed reading and cooking. She loved to go fishing with her husband, Gary, and spending time together. Betty had a wonderful family and loved them deeply. She will be missed.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Ann Millsap; two brothers, Herbert Abercrombie and Tommy Abercrombie and a sister, Louise Couch. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gary Rich; one son, James Millsap; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Immediately following, a graveside service for Mrs. Rich will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens at 3:00pm with Pastor Thomas Blagg officiating.
