Bernadette T (Mirisola) Blanchette

May 17, 1930 — June 25, 2022

Bernadette Blanchette passed away on June 25, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1930 to the late Luigi and Mary Mirisola in South Boston, Massachusetts. Bernadette was a devout Catholic, wife, and mother. As the matriarch, she strived to do everything for her family. Whether it be cooking delicious meals, baking treats, or just lending a hand, she was always there. Bernadette never met a stranger and was truly loved by all. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold Blanchette; her siblings, Joseph Mirisola, John Mirisola, Lois Gardner; and grandson, Tyler Blanchette. Bernadette is survived by her son, Bruce (Sally) Blanchette; daughter, Marylou (Ken) Bishop; grandchildren, Jason (Kristy) Bishop, Jessica (Jason) Willoughby, Kayleigh (Laura) Kingsbury, Ryan Blanchette, Connor Blanchette, Zack Blanchette; great-grandchildren, Hannah Willoughby, Katie Willoughby; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Memorial services for Mrs. Blanchette will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 12:00pm with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ( https://www.stjude.org/donate).
