Alberta Atcheson

Alberta M. Atcheson, age 79, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Friday, December 31, 2020. She was born on January 1, 1941 in Crowley, Louisiana to her late parents Henry and Florence Magnon. Alberta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister; Patsy Pierce and her brother; Carrol Magnon.

Mrs. Atcheson is survived by her loving husband of 61 years; Robert G. (Bob) Atcheson. They share two anniversaries on July 11th and 12th of 1959; daughter Cindy Patrick; son Robyn (Sonya) Atcheson; daughter Chantel (Keith) Maxwell; grandchildren; Brandon Holcombe, Derek (Whitney) Holcombe, Kayla (Matt) McCalla, Candler Atcheson, Aleta (Jack) Bucher, Wade Maxwell, James Maxwell, Bryan Patrick, Hunter Atcheson; great grandchildren; Ashdon Holcombe, Jada McCalla, Emmett Holcombe, Malcolm McCalla, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alberta was a home maker and a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Dallas, GA.

Funeral services for Mrs. Atcheson will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 3:30 PM at Clark Funeral Home with pastor Blake Trent officiating and will be live streamed on our facebook page-Sam Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 3:30 PM. Internment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Dallas, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Dallas First United Methodist Church in Dallas, GA.

If attending the visitation or service, the family of Mrs. Atcheson requests that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mrs. Atcheson safe. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
