Yvon Xavier, age 67, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on October 15, 1958, in Haiti, to the late Benoit and Nativida Xavier, Yvon made a lasting impact in his community and among his loved ones.
Yvon was a dedicated pastor at Universal Baptist Church in Dallas, Georgia, where he spread his love for the Lord and served his congregation with faithful heart and infectious laughter. Those who knew him appreciated his deep love for people, his dedication to mission work, and the light he brought into every room.
As a jokester and hard worker, Yvon had a way of turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. He was particularly adored for his culinary skills, often taking on the title of the family's top chef, especially when it came to cooking fish. His kitchen was always filled with laughter and the delicious scent of his creations.
In addition to his parents, Yvon was preceded in death by his sister, Alzette Xavier.
Yvon is survived by his loving wife, Carolle Jean Charles, his son Martin Xavier, his daughter Deborah Xavier, and his cherished grandchild, Dawson Noel. He will also be missed dearly by his brothers, Jean Xaiver, Max Xavier, and Toussaint Xavier, and his sisters, Loretta Xavier and Roseleine Xavier as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The Family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral Service will be held in the Sam Clark Chapel on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 7:00 PM. Another funeral Service will be held in Miami on Saturday, November, 15, 2025. Following the service in Miami, Yvon will be laid to rest at Caballero Rivero Southern memorial Park in North Miami, FL.
In the spirit of Yvon, let us remember him as a beacon of love, laughter, and dedication to family and faith. Rest in peace, dear Yvon; you will be missed more than words can say.
