Winfred Alton Morris

Winfred Alton Morris passed away March 9, 2022. He was born on March 12, 1932 to the late Alton and Stella Morris. Winfred enjoyed tending to his garden and spending time with his family. Most importantly, he was a man of God who loved his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He married the love of his life, Opal, on May 9, 1953 and together shared 68 years together. Winfred was a wonderful husband, daddy, and grandfather who adored his family. He will be very missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Shelly Morris Casey. He is survived by his loving wife, Opal Morris; his children, Kathy (David) Hicks, Wayne (Andrea) Morris, Lynn (Jerry) Hudson, Rita (Terry) Brown, David (Michelle Wright) Morris, Johnny (Mitzi) Morris, Alan (Sharon) Morris; brother, Billy (Carolyn) Morris; sisters, Sue (Herman) Tidwell, Ann (Charles) Broom, seventeen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Funeral Services for Mr. Morris will be at 2:00pm at Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Scott Hicks, Colton Sanders, Casey Hudson, Jacob Brown, Jeremy Morris, Chris Morris, Joshua Morris, Ben Morris and Danny Morris serving as pallbeares.
