William R. Timms, age 74, of Dallas, GA. passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born on September 23, 1946 in Haralson County within the Felton Community to his pate parents, Henry and Armenda Timms. Mr. Timms was known as a family oriented and devoted man to his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Hindman, and Lowell Timms.
Mr. Timms is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Timms whom he married on September 27, 1964 and have shared 56 years of marriage with; sons, Billy Timms of Dallas, GA. and Conrad (Kathy) Timms of Dallas, GA.; sisters, Shirley (Ray) Weaver of Marietta, GA. and Lucille Hanks of Acworth, GA.; brothers, Raymond Timms of Florida and Wilson (Reba) Timms of Cartersville; grandchildren, Brad Timms of Columbus, Steven Timms of Dallas, Josh Johnson of Dallas, Donald Johnson of Dallas, Katie Timms of Villa Rica ; great-granddaughter, Karmen Timms; along with many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be announced at a later date with interment at High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Timms safe. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
