William Lee Cover Sr.

William Lee Cover Sr. passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on October 18, 1942, to the late William and Helen Cover, William was a dedicated family man, a lover of music, and a proud Air Force veteran.

William joined the Air Force at the age of 18 and served his country for four years. In his professional life, he spent many years as a systems analyst at IBM, where he contributed to the ever-evolving world of computers. In his spare time, he enjoyed the things he loved most: playing pipe organs, listening to music, and taking peaceful walks in the woods.

He leaves behind his beloved children: his son, William (Sharon) Cover Jr.; his daughters, Robin (Tony) Stevens and Tamara Robbins. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Cover; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Sam Clark Chapel.
