William "Bill" Kinnick, a beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia, at the age of 65. Born on April 22, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, Bill's journey was marked by unwavering dedication to family, patriotism, and a profound love for life.
Bill proudly served his country as a member of the Navy, and after his military service, he built a successful career as a Flight Inspector at Lockheed Martin. Throughout his 40 years with the company, he took great pride in his work, serving as a Union Steward, advocating for his colleagues, and fostering a spirit of camaraderie within the workplace.
A passionate sports fanatic, Bill dedicated countless hours coaching youth sports in Paulding County, inspiring and mentoring young athletes with his boundless enthusiasm and his belief in the importance of teamwork. His love for sports extended beyond coaching; he enjoyed sharing his passion for fishing and teaching others the joy of the great outdoors. Bill's family often described him as a daredevil, particularly known for his thrilling motorcycle rides that reflected his zest for life and adventure.
Bill leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Terri Kinnick; his mother, Leona Kinnick; his son, Chris Kinnick (Kelly Kizer); his daughter, Brittany Dillard (Wesley); bonus sons, Christopher Martin (Kayla), and Dallas Martin, his sister, Kathy Lowery; and his cherished grandchildren, Paisley Dillard, Jace Dillard, Cameron Martin, and Cooper Martin. His legacy of love, courage, and devotion will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
In tribute to his life, a Memorial Service will be held at Sam Clark Chapel, in Hiram on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation at 10:00 am.
As we remember and honor Bill's remarkable life, we cherish the memories of a man who loved deeply, lived boldly, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
