Willa Dean Reeves

Willa Dean Reeves, peacefully passed away on November 24, 2023. She was born on August 8, 1939, in Ducktown, Tennessee, and later moved to Blue Ridge, Georgia, where she spent her formative years.

Dean dedicated many years proudly working for Curtis 1000, where she excelled in her role as a layout artist.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dean had a deep passion for music. She spent countless hours honing her skill as a guitarist and carried the spirit of bluegrass in her heart. She was a cherished member of a bluegrass band, performing at various festivals and bringing joy to all who heard her music.

Dean is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Reeves, her parents, Bonnie and John Henry Patterson Sr., her siblings, Eudell Hice, Harold Patterson, John Henry Patterson Jr., and Eunice Sharp.

Dean is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Jerry) Stanko, her brother, James (Donna) Patterson, her grandson, Keaton (Leslie) Stanko, and by her two great-grandchildren, Camden Stanko and Everett Stanko, as well as many nieces and nephews.

As we bid farewell to Dean, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the kind and dedicated staff at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain, who provided exceptional care to Dean and her daughter, Sherry, during Dean's final days. Your compassion and support have made an immeasurable difference in their lives.

Dean's family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel. A service for Dean will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 1:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel. Following the service Dean will be buried next to her husband at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth, Georgia.
