Wanda Wyline Tippens

Wanda Wyline Tippens, 64, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1962, in Millen, Georgia, to her loving parents, Homer and Martha Hicks. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

Wanda was a loving and caring person who dedicated over 15 years as a caregiver for others at Carestone. She was known for her gentle nature, warm smile, and comforting hugs. She loved pink roses and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

Some of Wanda's happiest times were made traveling to her favorite places she loved, where she enjoyed making memories with her family. She was also a devoted member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Homer Hicks, mother, Martha hicks, and her brother, Robert Hicks.

She is survived by her loving husband, Freddie Tippens; sons, Steven (Laila) Tippens and Kevin (Lisa) Tippens; grandchildren; Alysa Tippens, Leah Tippens, Jacob Tippens, and Lindsay Tippens. She is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Wanda will be remembered for her kindness, loving heart, warm smile, great hugs, and the comfort she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The Family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Derek Berry officiating. Following the service Wanda, will be laid to rest at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery with Tony Moon, Brandon Green, Wesley Scott, Jason Hendrix, Jason Peal and Kurtis Dawson serving as pallbearers.
