Wanda Faye Copeland

Mrs. Wanda Faye Agan Copeland, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, left this world on June 10, 2026, at the age of 64. Wanda was born on January 24, 1962, to the late Charles and Lillie Mae Agan in Villa Rica, Georgia. Wanda was a beacon of love and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Wanda's faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she was a devoted member of Springdale Baptist Church in Rockmart, Georgia. Her joyful spirit shone bright as she sang in the choir, sharing her love for Jesus with everyone around her. She shared an incredible 43 years of marriage with her husband, Allen Wayne Copeland Sr., and together they built a beautiful family.

Along with her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Michael Johnston.

Family was everything to Wanda. She was a proud mother to her four sons: Albert "Chuck" (Kelli) Copeland, David "Shane" (Jennifer) Copeland, Allen Wayne "Buck" Copeland Jr., and Michael "Mike" (Maureen "Mo") Copeland. As Jammaw, she reveled in the joys of her grandchildren-Brian, Avery (Lacey), Devon, Mareesa, Dawson, Corbin, Aspen, Kaleigha, and Palin-and her great-granddaughters, Raelyn and Mailee. Each one held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them, often playing a game of Spades and camping adventures that created lasting memories.

Wanda was known for her loving nature and her natural ability to care for others. She touched the lives of many, spreading warmth and compassion wherever she went.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Wanda's life at the funeral service that will take place on June 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Springdale Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Leggett and Pastor Joe Driver officiating. Wanda will lie in state prior to the service, starting at 1:00 PM at the church. Additionally, a visitation will occur on June 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home. Wanda will be laid to rest in Springdale Baptist Church Cemetery with Brian Copeland, Avery Copeland, Devon Copeland, Dawson Copeland, Corbin Copeland, Chris Copeland, and Ayden Eassey serving as pallbearers. Mareesa Copeland, Aspen Copeland, Kaleigha Copeland, and Palin Copeland will serve as honorary pallbearers.
