Vivian June Mimbs

Mrs. Vivian Terry Mimbs passed away on March 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Vivian was born on June 18, 1937, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late Clevie and Jessie Terry. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who spent her life nurturing those around her with love and a home-cooked meal.

Vivian dedicated a significant part of her life to working in food services for the Douglas County Board of Education, where her passion for feeding and caring for others truly shone. Alongside her career, she found joy in crafting, sitting on the porch, and was a dedicated fan of Gospel music shows. Vivian also cherished the adventures she had while traveling, especially her time at her special spot on Weiss Lake, where countless memories were made.

Along with her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Mimbs, with whom she was married for 25 loving years. Granddaughter NaKisha Presnell; sisters Annie Addison, Margie Jackson, Sue Presnell, and her special pup, Max.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Pam) Presnell, Robin Brown (Gary Pruitt), and Rodney Presnell; her cherished grandchildren, Jeromy Presnell, Amanda Holloway, Tonya (Josh) Deatherage, and Tabitha Pruitt.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Vivian's life. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on March 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Sam Clark Chapel with Bro. Kent Cole officiating. Nathan Cone, Josh Deatherage, Lamar Addison, Joe Addison, Freddie Addison, and Jeromy Presnell will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Sunrise Gardens of Memories.

Vivian will be dearly missed but will forever live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her.
