Virginia Lizzie Welchel, age 78, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2007. She was born on February 12, 1928 in Cobb Co. to the late Herbert and Annie Sinard. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sandra Lummus of Dallas, GA and Sam Lummus of Huntsville, TX; sisters, Ruth Bramblett of Macon, GA, Ellen Kraatz of Stockbridge, GA and Margene Roland of Powder Springs, GA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
