Virginia Diane Bunnell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia Diane Bunnell, who left this world on October 16, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on November 12, 1949, to the late James Sr. and Jeanette Clay, Virginia was a treasured mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who filled the lives of those around her with warmth and creativity.

Virginia was known for her incredible talent in crocheting-her beautifully crafted Afghans were not just blankets but heartfelt gifts that wrapped loved ones in comfort. Her skills didn't stop there; she was also a wonderful seamstress and an embroidery whiz. If it involved working with her hands, you could bet she excelled at it. She loved to fish and found joy in being outside. Virginia was also an excellent cook who took pride in her canning, ensuring that her family could enjoy her delicious creations year-round.

For approximately 30 years, Virginia shared her life and love with her husband, Mr. Clair Michael Bunnell, who passed away two years ago. Together, they made many loving memories.

Along with her parents and her husband, Virginia is preceded in death by her brother, James Clay Jr., and sister, Carolyn Phillips.

Virginia is survived by her two sons, Chris Eagle and Clay Eagle, and her beloved grandchildren Regan Rieffel-Eagle, Gabriel Eagle, and Gregory Eagle. She also leaves behind a niece and a nephew, both of whom will cherish her memory.

In accordance with Virginia's wishes, she will be cremated.

As we say goodbye to Virginia, let us remember her warmth, creativity, and the love she poured into her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
