Thomas O'Dell

Thomas Wayne O'Dell, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on January 5, 1946, in Glasgow, KY, to the late Thomas and Katherine O'Dell, Tom spent a good amount of his life in Dallas, GA, where he became a familiar face in the community.

Tom was a simple man with a great sense of humor. He had a knack for making people laugh and always knew how to lighten the mood. As a shop foreman at Southeastern Transfer in the storage industry, he was known for his hard work and dedication, but it was his cheerful personality that truly stood out.

In addition to his parents Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Carole O'Dell; daughter, Shirley Wooruff; son, Walter Pearson, and his sister Lera Neal.

He is survived by his daughter, Cathy (Tony) Allen, and a brother in law Doug Newberry.

Per Thomas's wishes he will be cremated and no public services will be held.
