Thomas Hardy

Tommy Hardy passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 74. He was born on April 20, 1949, to the late William and Margaret Hardy. Tommy was a caring father, devoted brother, proud grandfather, and doting great-grandfather.

In his free time, Tommy loved to refurbish old John Deer and New Holland tractors. He loved being at home and either working around the yard or riding around on his gator feeding the deer. Besides spending a lot of time outdoors, Tommy loved watching his Atlanta Braves play with friends and family. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. His kind heart and strength will be remembered as well as his love for his family.

Tommy is preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Sue Hardy; his son, Tracey Allen Hardy; his parents, William Robert Hardy and Margaret Jo Hardy; and his brother, Ricky Allen Hardy.

He is survived by his daughter, Deena (Mikie) King of Dallas, Georgia; his grandchildren, Anita Snow, Scott Dangel, Thomas Hardy, Aaron Dangel, and Shawn Dangel; great-grandchildren, Charlea and Jensen Dangel, Zander, Anniston, Emmie, Cole, Layla, Logan, and Kylen; brothers, Joel Dean Hardy of Dallas, Georgia, Robbie Hardy of Talladega, Alabama; sisters, Karen Thompson of Dallas, Georgia, and Connie (Lee) Waller of Lineville, Alabama.

Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at Clark Funeral Home and Chapel for visitation on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services for Mr. Tommy will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lee Waller officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Jason Bracket, Mikie King, Scott Dangel, Aaron Dangel, Shawn Dangel, and Daniel Nicholes serving as pallbearers.
