It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Clark, a grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who died on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on May 5, 1945, in Atlanta, Georgia, Terry was the son of the late M.L. and Sarah Clark. Terry was known as "Squeaky" to his colleagues at Lockheed, where he dedicated 33 years of service as a machinist in the aeronautical industry.
Throughout his life, Terry found joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid pool player, often seen enjoying time at the table with friends. He enjoyed leather work, a passion that allowed him to create some magnificent, and well made, items. Above all, Terry cherished his role as a grandfather. He delighted in the company of his granddaughters, Emily Chilton, Summer Chilton, and Madison Teal, who were the light of his life. His love for family extended to his great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Paisley, Colton, Sylas, and Lennox, sister, Andrea Benton, and his nieces, Starla Woityra, Deborah Burrell, and nephew, Chris Higgingbotham, all of whom will hold his memory close to their hearts. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his daughter Diane Clark and his sister Linda Padgett.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Sam Clark Chapel at 2:00 pm, with a visitation prior from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Friends and family are welcome to gather to celebrate Terry's life and share cherished memories.
Terry will be laid to rest on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11:00 am at Crestlawn Cemetery, 2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
