Terrell Smith

Terrell Johnson Smith, Jr., age 89, of Dallas, GA passed away on January 24, 2021. He was born on February 5, 1931 to his late parents, Terrell Johnson Smith, Sr and Thelma Campbell Smith. Mr. Smith was a member of Narroway Baptist Church in Dallas, GA. He worked in the printing business for 30+ years then became a Bus Driver for Paulding County Board of Education for more than 14 years. Terrell was a fan of NASCAR, trying his hand in casinos, Panama City Beach, riding the back roads, trying any new restaurant, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Echols and brother-in-law Doc Echols; his brother, Floyd Campbell and sister-in-law, Pearlie Campbell; and brother-in-law, C.O. Morris. Terrell was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and great great-grandfather and a friend to everyone he met.

Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Emily Tibbitts Smith; children Pam (Rick) Pope of Villa Rica, Ga; Keith (Cindy Sullivan) Smith of Dallas, Ga; Patti Butler of Dallas, Ga; Kendall (Lynn) Smith of Dallas, Ga; sister, Lola Morris; brothers, Lester (Kathy) Smith; Harold (Bonnie) Smith; Bobby (Sandy) Smith. Grandchildren: Brandon (Misty) Baxter; Megan (Jared) Sanders; Morgan Smith; Toby (Delicia) Miller; Jody (Megan) Miller; Levi (Katie) Smith; Makenzie (Lawson Hill) Smith, Billy Johnson, Jennifer (Jamie) Smith. Terrell has 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, Ga with Rev. Todd Tibbitts and Rev. Herschel Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow at Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas, GA. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
