Tammy Darlene (Hunter) Gillespie

Tammy Darlene Gillespie passed away on February 16, 2023. She was born on June 5, 1961 to Bobby and Winnie Hunter. Tammy was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was passionate for Christ and loved reading her Bible. Tammy's family was most important to her. She loved her husband, Terry, her family, and her dog, Bandit, fiercely. She enjoyed going camping with Terry and most of all, she adored her six grandchildren. Her family was her world and she was always there for them. Tammy was very loved and she will be deeply missed.

Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Brother Bobby Hunter. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Terry Gillespie; her son, Nathan (Jessica) Knight; her step-son, Steven (Tori) Gillespie; her sisters, Peggy (Bob) Juray, Gail (Donnie) Ivey, Debbie (Billy) Payne, Sheila (Norm) Heppner, Stacy (Steve) Pope; six grandchildren, Chloe Knight, Kylie Knight, Kinsley Knight, Carter Knight, Raylan Gillespie, Landan Gillespie; her mother, Winnie Hunter; several nieces and nephews; Alicia Darby, and many other friends at Hardy Family Ford.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Funeral services for Mrs. Gillespie will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 2:00pm with her son and Pastor Nathan Knight officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at the Georgia National Cemetery.
