Tami Otoupal
Tami Otoupal, age 57, of Tallapoosa, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Born in Bellaire, Ohio, she was the daughter of Elaine Lantz and the late Paul Wright.
Tami was a longtime resident of Georgia and dearly loved the country life she called home. She considered herself a true country girl and found joy in the outdoors, in simple pleasures, and in the beauty of the life around her. Her bubbly personality, warm heart, and infectious smile brought happiness to everyone blessed to know her.
Above all else, Tami loved her family deeply. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother whose kindness and love touched countless lives. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, laughter, and unwavering love.
Tami is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Scott Otoupal; her son, Tyler Otoupal and his wife, Mercedez; her mother, Elaine Lantz; her cherished granddaughter, Sirah Otoupal; her sister, Bobbi Kenney and her husband, John; her brother-in-law, Dan Otoupal; her mother-in-law, Joyce Otoupal; her nieces and nephews, Kayla Booker and her husband Oliver, Josh Hargrove, and Alyssa Hargrove; her stepmother, Vickie Wright; as well as many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched.
In addition to her father, Tami was preceded in death by her beloved son, Branden Otoupal; her father-in-law, Merritt Otoupal; her sister-in-law, Renee Otoupal; her stepfather, Jeff Lantz; and her stepmother, Dianne Wright.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, Georgia 30141.
A funeral service celebrating Tami's life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Don Rackley officiating.
In accordance with Tami's wishes, she will be cremated following the service.
